The World Clown Association’s
Bo Dino Educational Scholarship
In 1986, the World Clown Association established the first ever educational scholarship giving clown members
the opportunity to pursue formal clown training at any of several approved training programs. The first
scholarships were awarded at the 1987 WCA convention. Every year since, multiple scholarships have been
awarded. What follows is a listing of past winners of the Bo Dino Scholarship.

(This report was assembled based upon information gathered from past issues of Clowning Around.
Unfortunately there are about six years when neither the magazine, nor the WCA meeting minutes contained
the winning scholarship applicants names.)
